Remembering faces starts with knowing our own face.

It seems amazing that up until now, very few of us have ever been told or taught what makes our own face unique.

What characteristics define your face and make you you? What part of your face looks like that of a celebrity?

As you read Million Dollar Memory for Names & Faces, you'll uncover little details about your own face that you never knew before. It doesn't matter if you're 16 or 60 years old. For the first time, you'll look in the mirror and describe every part of your face. You'll start to see more beauty there than ever before! The beauty is in the details.

This same type of beauty can also be seen in every face around you. And as you zoom in on the characteristics of other people's faces quickly and easily, you'll describe them accurately and paint a true picture of what that face looks like.

In the last few weeks, I started my children's face recognition project where I teach children the same principles you'll be learning. I have to tell you that it's absolutely spellbinding, even for me as the creator of this method, to watch an 8–year&ndashold girl describe the face of a person with such certainty and accuracy. The image she portrays when she does this is that she's incredibly smart, a quick thinker, and that nothing can escape her notice. She looks like an expert, and she's only 8 years old! (See video).

You see, the techniques I teach on how to remember faces include learning the actual characteristics of the face that appear in the general population. Of course, there's a lot more to it than that. My technique is based on our perception of faces, on principles of memory and how the human brain learns, and accelerated learning. You'll learn a specific priority system for examining the face and finding these characteristics, one that is easily embedded in your brain's memory pathways. Combining all these together, my patent-pending method gives you maximum memorability of any face at any time you desire.

I believe you'll discover what many other people have discovered after learning my MDM5 Method of Face Recognition &mdash that most faces have between 5 and 10 very unique characteristics, and those characteristics are blatantly obvious after training. You couldn't forget them if you trie

Two nights ago I was watching Elton John on The Tonight Show and I counted seven distinguishing characteristics on his face and today I can imagine them vividly in my mind.

After reading Million Dollar Memory for Names & Faces, you'll be able to do the same! Evaluating and remembering faces is fun! It's exciting! It's new! It's water cooler talk at work. And it bonds you to other people. It helps you socially and gives you a skill that you can choose to use to help find missing children and identify criminals.

"Dramatic Improvement After Short-Term Memory Loss"

"Million Dollar Memory for Names & Faces, by Dr. Donna Schwontkowski, is the most insightful and best-researched book I have ever seen on the topic of memory.  As the survivor of a nearly fatal car collision, I have suffered with short-term memory loss for seven years.  These proven, yet profoundly simple ideas and strategies have dramatically improved my memory, thus dramatically improving my life.  I highly recommend it."

—Hal Elrod, America"s Empowerment Coach, author, Taking LIFE Head On!

"Exceeding My Past Ability By Far"

"I remembered 22 names and faces today and only missed 2, something I could never have done before on my own! One thing is that when you asked me the names of the criminals and their crime, I knew that I knew them cold. Those two I missed – I knew I didn't connect them in my mind. I know what I don't know and what I do know. It's a type of confidence I never had before. This will definitely help me in my job on the force."

—Police Officer, Sacramento, CA

"I Did It! Success in Remembering Names!"

"I went to an event this past weekend that involved about 20 people, and guess what?  I remembered all but two names!!  One person in attendance was surprised I remembered her name, stating that 'people tend to only remember my name when I have on a name tag.'

Big improvement from before!  In the past, I forgot a name before I even walked away from the individual. I'm impressed."

—Rolanda Reed, Sacramento, CA

"665 Students Are No Problem Anymore"

"I am a Music Teacher in a public elementary school. My students are in grades Kindergarten thru 6th grade, and I teach all 665 of them! Needless to say, it is very difficult to remember the names of all those students! I find myself calling a student by his brother's name, or calling a student by the name of the person who sits next to them. It's even worse when they go on to junior high, come back to visit their former teachers, and ask me, 'Do you remember me?' and then to see if I really do remember, 'What's my name?' I usually say something like, 'Well, you poor thing, you don't remember your own name?' to cover the fact that I can't remember their name. Trying to associate student names with where they sit in class does not help, since teachers rearrange students about once a month.

The techniques in Dr. Donna's book are excellent to help solve this problem for myself and for many other teachers like me. I heartily recommend it to everyone!"

"Faces Aren't One Big Whirling Blur Anymore!"

"As the editor and publisher of a national newspaper, names and faces are my business - and Million Dollar Memory for Names & Faces has given me the tools I need to remember them all.

I'm far more comfortable in social and business settings knowing that when someone shouts "Derek! Long time, no see!", I can instantly shoot back, 'Meg - you look great! How long has it been, 11 years? And look who's with you - it's Bill and the kids: Samuel, Rebecca, Jonathan and Sally.'

Investors, advertisers, colleagues, readers and just plain old acquaintances appreciate it, too. Who doesn't feel important when you remember her name? Before Million Dollar Memory for Names and Faces, all the people in my life were becoming one big whirling blur.

Dr. Schwontkowski's book changed all that. I was so impressed, I bought copies for everyone on my staff.

This is required reading for law enforcers of every stripe, including the Department of Homeland Security and everyone else on the lookout for terrorists. I also recommend it to Baby Boomers and seniors who are sick and tired of forgetting names and losing their car keys. It's a life changer."
