You've seen their faces and it's taken a toll on your heart, especially if you have children of your own. Another one missing today, two this week…You want to do everything you can to help, and there's something else to consider – it's not just missing children. There are missing adults, too. Each one has his or her own story; each one waits for justice. And again, there's something simple you can do to help. By improving your own ability to observe and improving your capacity to remember a lot of names and faces, you help those who are missing increase the chances they'll be found. You also help yourself and improve your social skills, your job skills, and improve your ability to bond with someone quickly. But I'm already good at remembering faces, you say? Sure, you are. Over 99% of us are born with face recognition skills. As a baby, we love looking at new faces, and research says many babies prefer blondes! Maybe they're just curious because blonde hair is not the norm… As you grow up, your skills get better and better. And then something happens around the age of 11. Maybe it's hormones, but researchers say that our ability to recognize faces doesn't improve much past the age of 11. How to Find Out Where Your Skills AreYou could test that idea right now if you have a son or daughter about that age. Here's how: Have a third person we'll call Bob go through one old magazine and cut out faces of people, about 50 of them; then get about 20 from another magazine. He should keep them separate and put a small “x” on the back of the 20 from the second magazine. Bob will then show you and your child 45 of the faces from the first magazine for about 5 seconds a face. Then you're done for the day. The next day, Bob will show you faces that include the 20 from the second magazine. Your job is to tell him who you saw before and who you didn't. Then have Bob test you 30 days from today. Stop Looking at Faces Through Smudged GlassIn my pilot studies, I consistently found that it's easy for people to forget what faces look like. And not only that, but they also can't seem to express what a face looks like in words that make sense. It's clear that we need a language for describing faces. You'll find both in Million Dollar Memory for Names & Faces: a technique to make a face memorable and the language to describe it. Once you have both, every face comes alive, even the faces of your family members! There's a magic that happens when you actually see a face. It's almost like a burst of endorphins and it makes you feel good – that's what I've found. The situation is like this. It's as if right now, you're looking at faces through smudged glass. My patent-pending method removes all the smudges and you see every face and notice every characteristic. Not just humans, but animals, too! So now when you get those ADVO postcards in the mail that have photos of the missing on them, you'll be able to not just see them as individuals, but you'll be able to differentiate them from each other. You'll see the faces shown on television completely different, too. Read what Stephen Moore of Georgia said after reading only the first few chapters.
Stephen Moore isn't alone. You can improve your face recognition skills and see close to three times as many details in the face as you see now. That only means one thing for the missing persons. Justice will soon be done. Click here to order Million Dollar Memory for Names & Faces Who are the missing persons at the top of this page? Click here to find out. Million Dollar Memory for Names & Faces isn't just about facial features. You learn a patent-pending method of how to look at the face in a memorable fashion, which puts all the features in their proper order of importance. From this knowledge, the chances are good that you'll be able to recognize someone who's changed their appearance – their hairstyle, facial hair and the addition or subtraction of glasses. There are clues to the face, and you can learn them all in a very short period of time. And the best part is that it's fun to look at faces in the book and fun to test yourself while waiting in bank or grocery store lines. It's like re-discovering life again! We Outnumber Them
"There's an estimated 4 million pedophiles in America. That may seem like a lot but consider this: well over 200 million people have the capability to develop a good memory for names and faces who then use their eyes and memory to watch for the pedophiles."
—Dr. Donna, Soroptomists Association Meeting
Training that Can Help in Natural Disasters
"How long did it take authorities to match the missing to their families in Katrina? What if those of us with MDM–trained eyes in face recognition came together for the next disaster and lent a hand to help find people? We're the only ones with high–level skills in this area. What kind of difference would we make?"
